Advanced setting

Drag and drop the audio component onto the screen and change your setting to advanced.

Select View and change the view name (only you will see this so it just needs to be something you will understand)

Component completion status - select complete

Transition you can select from the drop down which you would like

Select Audio: don't add your audio file here (you will add it in your next view!)

Prevent skipping forward - select this if you want the student to watch the video without skipping

Auto start: just means it will automatically start when it shows

Loop: means that it will play on a constant loop which on that screen

There is an Action section - you don't have to add anything in this section.

To make the audio show once a button has been clicked we need to add another view.

Below the above view there is another new view (you can add as many new views as you wish - if you want to add more actions)

View Name: again change this to a name that will mean something to you, I'm choosing incorrect answer

Component completion status: select complete

Transition: again you can select how you want it to appear

Select audio: here is where you need to add your audio. Click on the file and your resource manager will open - pick your file and then click select. Your file will then be loaded.

Again you can select how you want the following three component settings to act;

Unlike the first view (new view) you now need to add some actions to the Incorrect answer. Click on add action.

Don't worry about edit action - this is just an automatic number that is generated.

You will need to change the actions for the following:

when the learner does: you have multiple options here , for this example I will be using audio complete

this happens: again there is multiple answers but I will be using change another components view

change component: I will be selecting button 2

to view: I will be using after click

So the above means that when the audio has finished I then want button 2 to be viewed.

Completion options: you can chose to disable this component until these components are complete - for this example, I'm setting it so that the audio doesn't show until question 1 has been answered incorrectly

Visibility options: this is the same as above so you can hide the component until a component is complete - again for this example, I'm setting it so that the audio doesn't show until question 1 has been answered incorrectly
