Your resource manager is where you can store all your images and videos, in the cloud. You can attach ‘buckets’ which are like folders, to each project so that the next person to work on that project will be able to have all the relevant assets readily available.

Getting to Your Resource Manager
If you drag onto your screen an image or a video component, you will be taken through to your resource manager by simply clicking on the empty component.

Your resource manager is a pop-up over your course screen, so to return to editing at any point just click ‘cancel’ at the bottom.

From here you can either add a resource already in one of your buckets attached to the project, or you can upload one from your computer. You also have the option to add large videos, hosted elsewhere (such as YouTube and Vimeo) using a link.

Creating a New Bucket or Sub-folder

First, you will need to create a new bucket…

Then you can either create a subfolder or go straight to creating an asset.

Creating an Asset

Creating an asset means the same as adding a resource to your bucket. In most cases you will be uploading a file, but you also have the option to create an asset from a video link.

First, select how you are adding the asset, from a file or a link. Next, name the file so you will recognise it within, then either paste the link into the box or select the file from your computer. Finally, click the green button which says 'upload' for files and 'create' for links.

After you have added your file, or chosen one from your existing files, you are now able to add the image to your screen by selecting it and clicking he green button at the bottom which says ‘select’.

Ta daa! Your image/video has been added to your course. You can now re-size it using our responsive columns (for more info on using columns, see CONTAINERS: ROWS AND COLUMNS).
